Torgit: Illona, Isa and Hugo want to show me Ibiza and Crystal Mountain in particular. I've heard a lot about it and I'm really excited. So we drive towards San Joan in the north of Ibiza. As there are hardly any road names on Ibiza, we simply follow the blue painted stones on a bumpy dirt track and the adventure begins. Again and again we drive very slowly so that we don't touch down. We reach an enchanted garden with a magical atmosphere. Swings, wind chimes and dream catchers hang in the trees. The wind chimes sound softly in the wind. And I see crystals everywhere. Small, medium and very large crystals. They sparkle in the sun. We take in the peaceful atmosphere and feel the magic of this place more and more.
The mission of Ibiza Crystals is to rescue India's most beautiful and powerful healing crystals from the basalt mines and make them accessible to humanity. They are blessed and energized on this mountain in Ibiza.
Crystals are the most organized molecular structure on the planet. The crystals here are supplied in their natural state and are rough and raw rather than shiny and polished. This ensures that the stones are high energy and often produce beautiful natural works of art in their rough state. Some crystals remind me of coral underwater. The atmosphere here also reminds me a little of the stillness under water.
There are several types of crystals to see here:
Apophyllite is the stone most revered by Reiki masters. It is said to support the connection between the spiritual and physical realms and calm the mind. It is said to reduce stress and dissolve negative thought patterns.
Apophyllite comes from the largest volcanic plateau in the world. 65 million years ago, a huge meteorite hit planet Earth and marked the end of an era. The world was shaken, there was no light and many plants and animals died off. It was the beginning of a sequence of strong tectonic movements and the area most affected was India. It is believed that about 1 million years later, apophyllite was formed in the blink of an eye. It is said that the power of this rapid and intense creation was captured in the form of energy in these incredible rocks.
The apophyllite clusters are found when quarrying basalt (a black rock used to build India's roads) and in wells when digging for water. The crystals appear in geodes (cavities filled with crystals) and shell shapes in the rock. When the miners come across a crystal grain, it often takes weeks of chiseling until the full stone is exposed and freed.
Green apophyllite is known as the healing stone of healers. This heart-opening crystal is beautiful to look at and full of loving energy. It is said to open the heart chakra, help make decisions and bring a pure state of balance to any space. Only two sources of green apophyllite were found in India last year, and Chriystal Mountain was able to snag the most powerful pieces from both discoveries.
Often referred to as the "bliss crystal", Stilbit emits gentle, sweet, loving vibrations. It also stimulates the heart chakra and helps people to open up.
Rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love. It cleanses and opens the heart on all levels and brings deep inner healing and self-love. It is said to calm and help excellently with trauma or crises.
Tourmaline purifies and transforms dense and negative energy into a lighter vibration. It is very grounding and forms a protective shield around the body. It is effective in healing as it removes blockages and transforms negative situations into positive solutions.
Khan (Mr. Lovely) was born in a crystal hunting village in Mahratta and his family has been finding and collecting crystals for generations. He makes sure that the best and most powerful healing crystals come here.
The Crystal Kids Foundation works on many projects in Ibiza and India. Ibiza Crystals works closely with local schools in Ibiza to help children learn about the history of crystal formation in order to better understand the evolution of our planet. There are regular excursions in the crystal forest where school children are invited to explore the crystal forest. Activities include yoga, meditation and crystal treasure hunts.
20% of the profit goes back to the Indian mining villages to build facilities such as toilets, wells, houses and schools.
The special thing here is that you really have time and peace to hold stones in your hand and feel their energy. Every stone feels different and you will find your personal favorite stone. If you want, you can also buy crystals.
It's nice to see a group of young people from all over the world who are helping to transform the grounds of Chrystal Mountain into a garden. I always think retreats like this are wonderful. They are working hard and digging up a field, and you can feel the good vibes, everyone is having fun. These guys also make this wonderful music on the beach. Lunch is just ready and we are invited to join in. As Jeroen has already prepared pasta at home, we decline with thanks and say goodbye. The morning has flown by. It wasn't just the children who had fun, the positive energy here was good for us too.
