...fog of horror? - When we wake up, the world around us is trapped in billowing fog. - But we don't have to get out. Because today is Sunday: "On the seventh day you shall rest."

Although we certainly cannot call ourselves faithful to the Bible, we want to take it easy today. Speaking of being faithful to the Bible, I wonder in this context how Torgit can justify this to Sister Clara Antonia. - After all, Torgit spent nine years at a nun's school. Maybe that's why she keeps dragging me to churches. Only that with the cemeteries I cannot explain myself so correctly. But at least I have the chance to talk to the highest authority. Just to say thank you. I notice that I do this more often on our trip.

Our day starts with a shower. The only difference to home is that this is ice cold and we are in the middle of the forest. The fact that it is raining makes it even easier. We have to pump so less, because today we use our shower bag. Who does not know such a thing, this is a water bag, with hand shower. So that also pressure is on the line, selbiger is activated by foot bellows, by constant pumping. - An adventure of the special kind. In any case, it makes us laugh. When else does one stand at 13 degrees in the rainy forest to shower with cold water? - The whole thing reminds me a little of our Disco Fox dance class. There, too, I had to stand on the spot, and at the same time felt like a watered poodle.

Although we're almost cut off from the data highway up here in the middle of the foggy forest, Torgit claims we're even millions of light years away, bad news still finds its way. - Suddenly, Torgit's cell phone buzzes. This time it is not our landlord who is annoying us, but Torgit's tenant. We would rather not go into details here. - The fact is, I have to look for a place with a suitable network in order to bring about a binding exchange of opinions, in the sense of the house community.

After this is finally done, we have time to nurse our tired limbs a bit. Considering flip flops have been the definitive footwear for over 50 days, my feet are crying out for mercy. Whether it's ozonated olive oil, foot cream or Arhama ointment, my feet seem to drink it all away. And that's regardless of how often and at what intervals I apply the same. I take it upon myself to apply foot cream more often.

Our clothes also need care. In the next few days, we should look for a washing opportunity again. But today I'm just happy to put on a fresh hoodie. In the last photos, was certainly too obvious that I love to wear a certain sweater. You just tend to always reach for the clothes that are on top in the storage boxes. Maybe when we get a chance, we should check to see if more can't make it home.

In the afternoon I find the time to read a little in my book. From our place, we have a wonderful view into the forest. We seem to be standing in the middle of the clouds. In the evening, they are so dense that you can only see a few meters away. Not even the best flashlight helps. Although we can't see anything, we know we're not alone in the clearing tonight. But we wipe away our worries. It won't be the fog of horror. Today we find the much needed sleep.

Insight of the day: Sleep is sometimes luxury and happiness at the same time.
