True to our motto - 315 degrees - we now set course for De Pier Strandweg in The Hague.
The famous pier in Scheveningen is considered a true icon of the Dutch coast and is supposedly the most popular beach in Holland. - So why haven't we been here yet? - We think we know.
There's no accounting for taste. If the sunset, surfers and seagulls hadn't brightened up the picture, this first impression of the coast would have been sobering. We therefore decide to continue on towards Zeeland.
